Rhodend, was a 1960s three-bedroom detached Dormer-style dwelling located on a quarter-acre plot in Wareham, Dorset. The property, offering rear views of Wareham Forest, required significant updates to meet modern standards while enhancing its functionality and aesthetic appeal.

The property underwent a comprehensive renovation and extension project involving partial demolition and Structural updates.

The works included:

Removal of the existing roof and raising of the first floor walls with a new roof structure and modern slate style covering.

Replacement of old windows and doors with sleek, energy-efficient aluminium units to enhance insulation and aesthetics.

Full re-plastering of interior walls and ceilings to create a fresh, smooth finish.

Installation of modern electrics and energy-efficient underfloor heating throughout.

Construction of a new double garage to expand storage and parking capacity.

New contemporary ensuite and family bathroom and additional bedroom space.

Installation of a contemporary kitchen with high-end fittings and appliances.

This renovation transformed Rhodend into a stylish, energy-efficient home, with contemporary living, the upgrades maximized the property’s potential, both functionally and aesthetically, while taking full advantage of its scenic location near Wareham Forest
