MINERS COTTAGE

Architectural Design by Ashtton Associates Ltd.

The project was to  convert a derelict barn in an idyllic Derbyshire village, to create a three bedroom family home.

The services provided by Ashtton Associates started with a typical site survey, measuring the existing building’s and land features for their positioning and orientation in the design documents.

Preliminary designs were developed for client comment prior to local authority submissions for planning and conservation officer approval.

Following the full plans approval a Building regulations application was submitted with detailed construction drawings, material specification, SAP Energy assessment and full schedule of work.

The build phase was managed by the client and the redevelopment completed successfully, on time and budget.
